One credit pool, cleaner math everywhere, and a smarter Knox
Improved Knox's answers just got a lot better. Sharper explanations, better step-by-step reasoning, and stronger accuracy on harder problems — up to 2.51x better in our own testing. Same quality for free and Plus.
Improved Photos and questions now share one daily credit pool instead of separate caps. A typed question costs 1 credit, a photo costs 2 (photos take more work to read) — use your daily balance however fits your homework. Plus is still unlimited for both.
New Tap your credit count to see everything. Clicking the counter in the header opens a full breakdown — how many you have, exactly how the daily bank works, and a live-ticking clock showing the time to your next refill.
New Learn mode follow-ups are free. Starting a Learn session costs 1 credit like any other question — even if it starts with a photo — but every follow-up in that same Learn conversation is free, so working through something with Knox never punishes you for asking more.
New Drag and drop a photo anywhere in the app. Drag a picture of your homework in from your desktop, Photos, or wherever — drop it anywhere on the page and Knox picks it up, no need to hunt for the upload button.
New Copy button on every answer. Every response from Knox now has a one-tap copy button, so you can grab the full answer and paste it wherever you need it — works even if you're not signed in.
Fixed Knox no longer goes blank on hard problems. A really dense question — a multi-part calculus problem, or a photo of a packed worksheet — could sometimes come back with an empty response. Knox now has a lot more room to work through problems like that, and will tell you to split it up if it's still too much.
Fixed Pasting a math problem now shows up clean. Copying a problem from Canvas, a textbook PDF, or a quiz site used to paste in as raw formatting code — it now converts automatically into normal, readable math.
Fixed No more stray formatting code in Knox's answers. On harder problems, answers could occasionally show leftover code like frac{1}{3} or boxed{...} instead of real math — that's fixed, so every answer renders as clean, normal text.
Improved Learn Mode's example prompts actually match how it teaches now. The suggestions on the Learn Mode home screen used to ask Knox to just solve the problem — they now match the guided, quiz-style approach Learn Mode is built around.
Fixed The credit timer no longer resets when you come back. Previously the countdown could look like it reset to 24 hours each time you opened Knox — the timer is now anchored server-side, so it stays accurate no matter when you check it.
New Dark mode. Tap the moon icon in the header to switch — works across the whole site and the app, remembers your choice, and light mode is still the default for everyone until you flip it.
New Signed in? You'll land straight in the app now. Coming back to knoxknowsapp.com while already logged in takes you right into Knox instead of the homepage — every other page (pricing, terms, a link someone sent you) still opens normally.
Improved A small reminder under the input box: Knox is AI and can make mistakes, so it's worth double-checking anything important — and the 👍 / 👎 under an answer is the fastest way to tell us when something's off.

Simpler pricing, a real sidebar, and cleaner answers
New One plan, not three. Knox Plus is now the only paid tier — $9.99/month or $79.99/year, with a 3-day free trial. No more picking between confusing tiers.
Improved Free gets the same AI as Plus. Paying only removes the usage limit — it never unlocks a "better" version of Knox. Free is 10 questions to start, +5 each day (save up to 20), and 5 photo uploads a day; Plus is unlimited.
New Calculator moved into the sidebar. It's a full page now instead of a popup — click it from anywhere in the app.
New Account & Plan, one click away. Added straight to the sidebar instead of being buried in a dropdown.
New Real conversation history. Clicking a past conversation now reopens the whole thing — every question and answer, not just the question re-typed into the box.
Fixed Code answers keep their indentation. Python, Java, and other code now render in a proper formatted block instead of losing its structure.
Improved Cleaned up the look and feel across the app and homepage — clearer pricing page, steadier layout, smoother sidebar.
